What do you get if you mix Rod Stewart, flags and lots of children? A great big thank you to the NHS!
Castle School, a small independent school in Narberth, has been working it’s children really hard for the last two weeks in ‘Remote School’- the school’s ‘full on’ online version of their busy weekly timetable.
The school, which has around 150 pupils is celebrating the end of a particularly busy term with a ‘Thank the NHS Day’.
Dressing up in blue (seniors) or as doctors or nurses (prep school) - they’ll all contribute £1 when they return to school to an NHS charity - pupils have ‘huddled’ together to sing a thank you song to the NHS.
To the tune of Rod Stewart’s Sailing they have met up (online of course) to sing, wave flags and banners and give thanks to our frontline workers.
All have been asked to write poems, draw pictures, make models, bake cakes and send in photos to make a thank you montage which will be uploaded and sent to NHS workers across the country.
Please see the school’s Facebook page and tag in an NHS worker who may need a little burst of joy from a small school with a big heart.
