There were plenty of ‘mad hatters’ on parade as Tenby Playgroup held their annual Easter raffle and coffee morning this week.
The event took place at St. Teilos Catholic Church, where parents were able to enjoy tea, coffee and cakes, before the children took part in a special Easter Egg hunt, with goodies kindly donated by Mrs. Millie Hartland.
Mayor of Tenby, Clr. Paul Rapi and Kath Morgan of Tenby Ladies Circle had the task of judging the colourful Easter bonnet parade and picking out the winners.
Prizes, donated by Sainsbury’s, were won by Alexis Revell in first place, followed by Poppy Whittle in second, and Toby Evans in third place, although all the children that took part received a gift for their efforts.
Raffle prizes were donated by - Tesco; Hugh Scale from Four Seasons; Feccis; Jazz; Heywood Mount Hotel; and parents from the playgroup, who are based at the town’s Leisure Centre.
