West Wales Rock 'n' Roll Club will be holding their monthly dance at Whitland Dairy Club on Friday, October 19.
They are proud to announce that the band appearing will be the Downtown Daddyo's (pictured).
Based in Bristol, The Downtown Daddyo's perform songs from the 1950s from memorable artists such as Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Ray Charles, Carl Perkins, Johnny Preston, Bobby Darin, Johnny Ray and Louis Prima, to name a few.
With a wealth of knowledge on rock 'n' roll music, the band endeavour to play their songs with the intention of making you either tap your feet or get up on the dance floor and jive the night away whilst enjoying the music of a much-appreciated and well-followed era.
Formed in January 2010, The Downtown Daddyo's have already received much acclaim from rock 'n' roll clubs, weekend festivals, and all day events where they have played, and have had superb reviews in the rock 'n' roll music press.
This band is truly one of the top bands on the circuit, real rock 'n' roll as it should be!
They have already become a popular act across the country and have extensive dates for 2013 playing at rock 'n' roll clubs, festivals and corporate events throughout the UK.
So for a great night of rock 'n' roll nostalgia, get along to 'Downtown Whitland' Dairy Club on Friday, October 19. Doors open at 7.30. Dancing starts as soon as the music does!
The band will be ably supported by the Jive Machine DJ.
Admission is just £8 and visitors can pay at the door. All are welcome.
