Pictured is Janet Phelan, of Jeffreyston, presenting a cheque for £500 to Jan Wolverson and colleagues at Ward 10, Withybush Hospital and £500 to Kelly Reed, Owen Duggen and Fay Morley for Macmillan Cancer Support, in memory of her late husband Kieron Arthur Phelan, who passed away earlier this year.
Kieron moved to Pembrokeshire in 1989 to be the after sales manager at County Services in Haverforwest and worked for them until he started his own business in Pembroke Dock, before retiring in 2015.
He was well known in the area for managing and playing for Saundersfoot AFC, and also turning out for Lawrenny and St. Florence.
Over the past couple of years, he had enjoyed going out for lunch with his wife Janet and their little dog Arthur.
Janet and Arthur would like to thank everyone who donated in Kieron’s memory.
