A Tenby man faces a long prison sentence after he admitted running a large haul of heroin into the area.

Andrew Broadhurst, aged 54, who lived in a caravan near Stepaside before he was arrested and taken into custody, appeared at Swansea crown court on Friday via video link with Swansea jail.

Broadhurst admitted possessing 132 grams of the Class A drug at Llandowror on October 29 with intent to supply.

Judge Paul Thomas was told Broadhurst had bought the drugs--more than enough to make over 1,000 regular deals-- from a Liverpool gang.

He will be sentenced on December 20 and was further remanded in custody until then.
