A St Clears man who failed to pay child support has been ordered to pay over £4,500 or face a suspended six-week prison sentence.
The 29-year-old appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on March 5.
The defendant was ordered to pay £4,577 or in default to serve six weeks suspended. Custody was considered the only suitable option following deliberate refusal to pay and cooperate.
Payment terms of £20 a week were imposed, plus costs of £41 to the Department of Work and Pensions.
