A PEMBROKE Dock resident has been remanded in custody after pleading not guilty to three charges of assault at the defendant’s home.

Appearing before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, September 16, Vetch Maladick-Gaiman denied assaulting a man and a woman at a Meyrick Street property on September 8, and a further charge of assault by beating on August 27 at the same address.

The 33-year-old was remanded in custody until the next hearing in magistrates’ court on October 14. Bail was refused for various reasons, including own welfare, an assessed likelihood of offending, and to prevent potential interference with witnesses.

The court directed that a live link be used for the hearing, when a bail application is expected to be heard.
