A PRISONER on licence has been sent back to prison for theft from Tesco Superstore in Haverfordwest.
Scott Cowdery, of Wesley Place, Trecwn, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, June 16. Court heard that on three different dates in 2026 he had stolen £60 worth of alcohol from the store, and from the private access road had stolen a 24-inch television worth £109 and £300 worth of meats.
The 33-year-old was jailed for eight weeks, concurrent, for each offence, and required to pay a total of £409 in compensation, plus court costs of £85.
Cowdery had also damaged an ankle tag and alcohol tag belonging to EMS but no compensation was ordered as the value was unknown.
