A PEMBROKE Dock woman who assaulted an emergency worker has been handed a new suspended sentence.

25-year-old Elisha Callen, of Glenview Avenue, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on Monday, June 30.

Ms Callen admitted failing to attend planned office appointments on May 23 and 30, in breach of a community requirement of a suspended sentence order made at Haverfordwest on May 20 for two offences of assault by beating of an emergency worker.

The order was not activated as the defendant is now engaging, and a Drug Rehabilitation Requirement had not been considered previously. Instead, she was committed to prison for 26 weeks, suspended for 24 months.

A Drug Rehabilitation Requirement was added, to be reviewed monthly. Costs were £60.
