A Pembrokeshire woman has been ordered to pay nearly £4,000 for playing loud music at her home in Milford Haven.

Three allegations were heard at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on August 30. Defendant was not present but pleaded not guilty.

The 28-year-old had been served with an Environmental Protection Act 1990 abatement notice by Pembrokeshire County Council, court heard, but this had been contravened on two occasions in May and June 2022, with the playing of loud music at the premises in Howarth Close.

No evidence was offered for the third incident, so it was dismissed.

Two cases proved, magistrates imposed two fines of £660, adding costs of £2,527.75 and a victim services surcharge of £132; the total to be paid amounting to £3,979.75.
