A DRIVER who is accused of causing serious injury through careless driving in Penally 18 months ago will be tried at Swansea Crown Court on May 8.
Harry Sutton-Brown, of Templeton, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on April 7 charged with causing serious injury by careless / inconsiderate driving, contrary to section 2C of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and Schedule 2 to the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988.
Prosecution alleges that on November 22, 2024, at Penally, near Tenby, the defendant caused serious injury to Joanne Morris by driving a Hyundai i30 on the village road without due care and attention.
No plea was entered and Sutton-Brown was sent to Crown Court for trial on unconditional bail.
