Narberth town councillor Henry Langen recently mixed with stars of the stage and screen.

Representing muscular dystrophy sufferers in West Wales, he attended a memorial service for actor and Oscar-winning film director Richard Attenborough.

Film veteran Lord Attenborough, who dominated the British film business for more than half a century, died last August at the age of 90.

"It really was quite impressive," said Clr. Langen at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council.
