A six-week consultation is being launched tomorrow (November 13) on a proposal to federate Templeton CP and Tavernspite CP Schools.
The consultation is being carried out by Pembrokeshire County Council.
The Council is seeking the views of the public on whether they agree with the proposal to federate the two schools, as well as a number of associated matters for consideration.
Among the issues to consider are what would be the name of the federation if it did go ahead, whether there should be a single headteacher, and the proposed composition of a governing body.
The statutory consultation will run from November 13 until Wednesday, December 30, 2015.
To take part, go online at www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/haveyoursay
Or write to: Mrs Kate Evan-Hughes, Director for Children and Schools, County Hall, Haverfordwest, SA61 1TP.
As part of the process, meetings will be held for staff, parents and members of the community to discuss the proposal. The dates for these will be confirmed shortly.
There will also be an opportunity for the pupils of Tavernspite and Templeton schools to participate in the consultation process. This will take place with the relevant School Councils.
