OVER the last few months at Ysgol Greenhill Tenby, pupils in Tonnau have been learning all about Sir David Attenborough and the natural world.
They have produced artwork, cooked nature-inspired dishes and created many extended pieces of writing, including writing letters to wish him a happy birthday.
These letters were sent off to Sir David and the pupils were very excited to receive a reply thanking them for their birthday wishes.
All their hard work culminated in a special Sir David Attenborough Day which took place on his 100th Birthday, Friday, May 8. Pupils had a great time dressing up, cooking breakfast, taking part in games and quizzes, going on a scavenger hunt walk to the beach and an awards ceremony to finish.
