AT the last meeting before Easter, 35 members of Tenby Friendship Club attended, and 12 of them made Easter bonnets.

Betty won first prize with Diana coming second.

Members were reminded that next term starts on Wednesday, April 8, 2pm in Augustus Place Hall. On the 15th, the club members who have booked will be enjoying a cream tea on the Gwili Steam Railway.

Shirley tells us that the club is doing fine, with more men coming in too: “New members are always welcome, men and women! Most members are in their seventies or eighties with a few in their nineties. It is great to come and socialise!”
