JUST three tables were in play at Penally Bridge Club on March 30, which was a remarkable session in that five slams were recorded.

One was by John & Jill who came top with 62%, three by Geoff & Paul V who came second with 59% and one by Brenda & Alan who came third with 52%.

It was also a sad day as we were saying “goodbye and good luck” to Kath, who is leaving the area for pastures new.

After a break for Easter, the club will re-open on Monday, April 13, with play commencing at 1.30pm in the Village Hall and, thereafter, each Monday at 1.30 until further notice.
