MANORBIER Gardening Club’s next meeting is on Wednesday, July 16 at 7.30pm, when Scolton Manor head gardener Simon Richards will talk on redeveloping the Victorian walled garden from scratch.
Simon will describe the first ten years building the Welsh Salvia Collection at the country manor park near Haverfordwest - a fabulous selection of over 60 different salvias from around the world.
Simon will also bring salvia plants to sell at the meeting and there will be the usual raffle and refreshments, along with the ‘Jobs for the Month’ board and a plant, seeds and magazine table.
Everyone from near or far and any age are all warmly welcomed to this friendly group of garden and wildlife enthusiasts. Visitors are asked to pay a small admission fee of £3, while it is free entry for members.
