RESIDENTS of a North Pembrokeshire village are gearing up for a public meeting on Tuesday evening, February 24 with a view to buying the old WI corrugated iron meeting room and to turn it into a community heritage space.
The hope of the meeting at 7pm at Boncath village hall is to buy the historic building in the centre of the village known as Bwthyn Boncath.
The evening will be led by Cris Tomos of PLANED, who helped with the purchase of Tafarn Sinc in Rosebush in 2017.

Cris said: “It would be great to have another corrugated building owned by the community in North Pembrokeshire, especially this year of 2026 as Tafarn Sinc celebrates its 150th anniversary.”
Anyone interested in knowing more can turn up on the evening to hear about the plan to raise £12,000 to clinch the purchase of the building for the community.
Additional information can be found on the Facebook Bwthyn Boncath. Or contact Cris Tomos at PLANED on 01834 860965
