REPRESENTATIVES of seven charities supported by Narberth & Whitland Rotary, Narberth RFC and event sponsors gathered for a cheque presentation ceremony.

The event, an annual fixture, took place on Wednesday, November 19.

Narberth & Whitland Rotary’s premier fundraising event of 2025 was Narberth Outdoor Rock, hosted in collaboration with Narberth Rugby Football Club.

The seven charities were Canolfan Elfed, represented by Wendy Sykes-Wilks; Wales Air Ambulance - Mike May; Sandy Bear - Martin Jones and Lisa Jenkins; ROKO 20 - Tracey Neale-Ferreira; Paul Sartori - Val Harrold and Gill Jones; Narberth Foodbank - Ian Watling; and Prostate Cymru, represented by Rotarian Peter O’Shea.

The charity representatives briefly explained their charitable contributions to the community, covering a range of activities, primarily in Wales, with the exception of Roko 20 Academy in Kenya, which is a primary school offering a free education to orphans and children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Each charity received a cheque presented by Rotary President Robin Bradbury.

Rob Lewis, representing Narberth RFC, welcomed all those present and thanked them for the diligent contributions that they made to their causes.
