JOIN Carew Community Council on Saturday, July 4 for a community litter pick and help keep this beautiful Pembrokeshire village looking its best.

Meet at 10am in Carew Memorial Hall - park at the nearby Sports Club Car Park.

Councillors will provide litter-picking equipment and bags, and will let everyone know the designated locations where full bags can be left for collection.

If you have your own gloves, please bring them along.

Cllr Simon Hosker-Hicks said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for the whole community to come together and make a real difference. Whether you’re young or old, we'd love to see as many people as possible taking part.

“None of us should have to spend our time picking up litter, but unfortunately it’s something that needs doing. With a little effort from everyone, we can help keep Carew clean, tidy and welcoming for residents and visitors alike.

“Every pair of hands makes a difference.

“Thank you in advance for your support, and we look forward to seeing you there!”
