THERE was a good turnout for John Evans’ fascinating talk, ‘Aviation Pioneers’ at Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre.

Seaplane trials in the Milford Haven Waterway before World War I and visits made by national heroine Amy Johnson were among the stories he told at the June meeting of Pembrokeshire Aviation Group.

Non-members are most welcome to attend the group meetings, with a modest contribution of £3 to help defray costs.
