WHAT a joy it was to have four full tables in play at Penally Bridge Club on April 20 – and there was no one more joyous than Hywel Probert, who was celebrating his 90th birthday on that day.

Two pairs shared top spot, both scoring 61.81%: Brenda & Alan and Geoff & Paul. A mere whisker away were John & Jill, scoring 61.11%.
