AT Manorbier Gardening Club’s next meeting, Ginny Batt from the Pembrokeshire Hogspital will be giving a talk on how this non-profit organisation rescues and rehabilitates sick and injured hedgehogs.
The hedgehogs are returned to the wild wherever possible.
In addition, Ginny will also be bringing some of her prickly little friends to the meeting on Wednesday, May 21, and she would appreciate donations of hedgehog food.
The meeting starts at 7.30pm. There will be a raffle and refreshments, along with the ‘Jobs for the Month’ board and a plant, seeds and magazine table.
All are welcome to the Gardening Club, beginners and experienced gardeners alike, where this friendly group of garden and wildlife enthusiasts swap tips and advice on gardening.
Meetings are held at the Giraldus Centre in Manorbier, on the third Wednesday of each month. Annual membership is £15, while visitors are asked to pay a small admission fee of £3. Further information is available from Maggie at [email protected] .
