EXCITEMENT is building as the National Eisteddfod approaches. The celebration of Welsh language, creativity and culture will be held in Llantwd, North Pembrokeshire, August 1-8.
Preparations are continuing for Pentre'r Garreg Las, Pembrokeshire County Council and partners’ area on the Maes, which will showcase and celebrate what the county has to offer.
A packed programme is in the process of being finalised for Pabell Pawb, and will include a rich mixture of talks, talented musicians and demonstrations.
2026 marks 850 years since the first Eisteddfod was held a few miles away in Cardigan Castle, and a giant puppet of founder Lord Rhys, built by Small World Theatre, recently delighted communities as he journeyed around the area.
