A CALL has gone out for volunteers to support one of the Wales’s finest celebrations of contemporary craft that returns to Cardigan Castle this September.

Now in its third year, Craft Festival Wales brings three unforgettable days of creativity, craft skills, and community to Cardigan from September 11-13, 2026.

Craft Festival Wales, a heartwarming celebration of craft and community, showcases world-class design and craft and bringing together creatives across all disciplines to one of Wales’s most iconic heritage locations.

The festival will feature workshops, demonstrations, talks, live music, new commissions, theatre, and free children’s activities in partnership with local cultural organisations.

Volunteering is a fun, hands-on way to support the craft community, gain experience and be part of a vibrant festival atmosphere. But hurry! The deadline to sign up is this Friday, July 31.

Volunteer Roles Include: Welcoming visitors and makers; Ticket scanning and box office support; Helping with children’s activities; Festival set-up and take down; Providing information and visitor assistance.

Benefitting from a supportive team and a lively, social experience, volunteers receive a free weekend pass after eight or more hours of volunteering.
