ARRANGEMENTS for Santa’s visit to Pembroke Dock were under discussion at the town council meeting on November 6.

Councillors looked forward to a more joined-up approach with local businesses, centred on the St Govan’s Shopping Centre in Dimond Street, where renovation to the front has just been completed.

The centre will be the focus of activity on December 5, with letters to Santa, hot chocolate, choir performances and a range of stalls.

Santa’s arrival will be around 6pm.

The following morning, Breakfast with Santa opens at 9am. Within a week of advertising the breakfast, bookings already totalled over 100 so there is only space to admit small groups.

Councillors welcomed the phenomenal response as an indication of the event’s success.
