JOHN Manchester treated Hundleton WI to a Chocolate Tasting demonstration at their November meeting. He brought a variety of white, milk and plain chocolate, and members tasted his homemade lemon, white chocolate Baileys and brandy truffles.

The monthly meeting took place at Gilead School Room on Tuesday, November 4. President Margaret Luff welcomed Janice Roberts as a guest and invited tellers Liz Neame and Helen Charlett from Lamphey WI to the meeting.

After the chocolate tasting demonstration, Linda Jones thanked Mr Manchester, who then judged the monthly competition, ‘A Favourite Coaster’ and the winners were:- 1st Jayne Smith 2nd Sheila Evans 3rd Pat Preece.

The new WI 2025/26 Committee members are Margaret Davies (president), Linda Jones (secretary), Pauline Charlett (treasurer), Jayne Smith, Sheila Evans, Pat Preece, Margaret Brown, Carolyn Monk and Audrey Brown. A Programme Planning meeting was arranged for the new committee at Margaret Davies’ house.

The Group Carol Service will take place on Thursday, December 4 at Carew Church, starting at 2pm.
