WELL done to the ladies of the Angle Tit Club who smashed last years total, raising £2,700 for charity Breast Cancer Now with their afternoon tea event…

The afternoon tea was held in Angle Village Hall on Saturday, August 9 and was very successful, thanks to the hard work of the organisers and helpers. There were over 70 prizes to be won in the raffle!

Pictured with local volunteer for the charity Sheila Ralph at the presentation are organisers Julie James, Jan Davies, Jayne Lewis, Jude Scourfield and Judith Davies, who have all had a Breast Cancer diagnosis, along with helpers and raffle sellers Kath Lunn, Kathy Jones, Annette Richards and Jo Richards. Not in the picture are other helpers Shania Morris, Becky James, Joy James, Annette Richards (2) and Mary Rogers who were also invaluable on the day.

There is already talk of a bigger and better event next next year, so watch this space!
