Eva Rich, secretary of the Pembrokeshire Fundraising Branch of Guide Dogs Cymru, had a lovely surprise when she received a telephone call advising that Lisa’s Diner at Telpyn Shooting Ground, had raised the magnificent sum of £353 at their Christmas raffle.
The members of the branch wish to say a huge thank you to Lisa, her staff and customers for choosing Guide Dogs as the charity to benefit from the raffle.
The money will help towards the training of guide dogs who provide visually impaired people with mobility and independence in safety.
Eva is currently working with her very new guide dog, Nancy, and helping her to settle into her new surroundings in Saundersfoot. Nancy is Eva’s seventh guide dog, and there are currently 17 working guide dog partnerships in Pembrokeshire.
Sincere thanks and gratitude to all at Lisa’s Diner.
