Ysgol Brynconin, Llandissilio, held two Christmas concerts on the afternoon and evening of Monday, December 3.

The younger children Class 1-2 (aged three-seven) performed the nativity play 'Albert Yr Asyn' (Albert the donkey). Pupils looked fantastic as the hall was filled with angels, shepherds, the Three Kings, as well as soldiers. Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus were accompanied by 'Albert yr Asyn'. Their performance brought the house down!

The second half of the concert was the junior pupils production of 'Bah Humbug!' , a bilingual adaptation of A Christmas Carol with Morgan taking the lead role as Scrooge. Wiliam played Bob Cratchet, while Leah, Anwen, Lloyd and Caitlin were the ghosts of Christmas past. Every pupil took part and had a speaking part. There were traditional Welsh carols sung by the children linking each scene together. They were accompanied by Mr. John. S. Davies on piano which really took the performance to another level. The pupils would like to thank all the staff for their hard work in preparing the productions.
