Serendipity Ladies’ Choir from Narberth is celebrating after raising nearly £600 for local charities at a joint summer concert.

They sang alongside Cor Bois y Felin from Bancyfelin to a large audience at the Regency Hall.

This time around the ladies’ choir was led by musical director Juliet Rossiter – who had to miss their last gig when she was called in for a kidney transplant just hours before curtain up.

“We had a wonderful evening singing with Cor Bois Y Felin,” said choir secretary Irene Williams.

“It was lovely to have Juliet back at the front and we are thrilled to have raised so much money as well.”

The funds will now be split between the two choirs’ chosen charities: the local RNLI and Taf QT Club which helps those with dementia related conditions.

Serendipity Ladies’ Choir next concert takes place open air at the Family Frolics at the Creswell Quay on the evening of Friday, August 2 in aid of Paul Sartori Foundation and the Wales Air Ambulance.
