Tenby in Bloom received a ‘wheelie’ big boost this week with a £1,500 donation from the Carten100 charity cycle ride.

Participants of the Cardiff to Tenby challenge took on their 11th official annual ride earlier this year, which benefits chosen charities and good causes.

Finishers of the event then enjoy refreshments at the resort’s harbour hosted by Tenby and District Lions.

“We’re really very gratfeful for this donation, and we’re hoping to come up with a floral display for next year’s Carten,” said Tenby in Bloom chairman Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, who is pictured here receiving a cheque from Carten committee member James Lewis and his son Morgan. Also seen is Peter Roderick from the Lions.
