Caldey Island is celebrating four new arrivals. Two of the island’s red squirrels have given birth to four baby kittens.

“Both mothers and the four kittens are doing well,” said estates manager, Ben Childs.

“It is absolutely fantastic news,” he added.

Squirrels became residents on Caldey as part of the creation of the holy island’s wildlife haven.
