Yesterday (Tuesday, September 9) turned out to be a big day for Susie’s Sheepskin Boots as the First Minister of Wales, Eluned Morgan, stepped into the shop in Tenby’s Old Market Hall.

Established in 1979, Susie’s Sheepskin Boots makes unique, comfortable, stylish and legendary sheepskin boots and slippers.

Bethan Thomas said: “She left with a pair of our slippers… because even when you’re leading a nation, there’s nothing more important than having warm toes at the end of the day.

“Thanks for shopping local, Eluned – we’re honoured to keep the First Minister’s feet cosy!”

She later added: “Hopefully now she’s also seen the state of our roof and the leaks for herself, she can have a quiet word with Pembrokeshire County Council to help move things along with getting the much-needed repairs sorted.”
