Restaurant-goers in Tenby could soon be enjoying an authentic Italian dining experience with the opening of a new establishment overlooking the harbour.

The owners of Florentino’s in Carmarthen have applied for a ‘premises licence’ to take over the former Ocean Restaurant on St Julian Street based at the resort’s harbour.

Florentino’s situated on Jackson’s Lane in the heart of Carmarthen, opened in 2015, and since then it has garnered a reputation as one of the finest places to dine in West Wales - regularly featuring near the top of TripAdvisor ratings.

The owner state that they take pride in offering ‘an authentic taste of Italian cuisine’ - from pasta to wood fired oven pizza.

The application submitted by Claudio Cernat is set to go before Pembrokeshire County Council’s licensing department.
