Paul Diment, who is the firms Pension Transfer Specialist stated that many financial advisers are not able to advise in this area.
“I have many former colleagues who do not have the relevant qualifications to advise in this complex area, but I have the Chartered Insurance Institutes AF3 pension planning qualification so they are referring Occupational Pension Transfer work to me.

“Transfer values are hefty compared to the income clients receive upon retirement, this coupled with potentially greater death benefits make Occupational Pension Transfer very attractive to clients.”
Chris, who has achieved the highly acclaimed Chartered Institutes J07 Qualification and personally overseas all the complex compliance procedures that are required by the Financial Conduct Authority in the area of pension transfers, continued: “Paul is very well placed to be our Pension Transfer Specialist as in addition to holding the Level 6, Pension Planning Qualification AF3, he also holds the Level 6, Chartered Insurance Institutes, ‘Advanced Investment Planning’ and heads our own internal investment committee in terms of asset allocation and fund selection.
“Within our pension advice team, we also have Luke Stanley, who to help meet our demand for Occupational Pension Transfer advice has also taken the AF3 qualification.
