This week’s Blast from the Past goes back 40 years to mark the anniversary of the formation of Saundersfoot Youth Choir.
The photo, taken by Malcolm Richards, shows members of the newly-formed choir at Wesley Church, Saundersfoot, where they used to practice.
The choir’s secretary and pianist, Mrs. Gill Lewis, kindly brought the photo in for us. Her husband, Bob Lewis, was involved too with the group as treasurer.
Seen in the group are - Ann Taylor, Penny Cleevely, Jayne Wood, Wendy Williams, Joanne Crockford, Shirley Ann Davies, Jane Evans, Helen Evans, Janet Dyer, Nina Busby, Richard Wastnage, Martin Evans, Paul Morris, Jonathon Wastnage, Timothy Brace, Caroline Evans, Christopher Lewis, David Walters and David Parry. Also pictured are Mr. R. T. Lewis, Mrs. G. Lewis and Mr. M. Self.
See next week’s Blast to find out what the Youth Choir got up to next.
