Last month nine cyclists took part in a 100 mile charity spin bike challenge - with every member completing the 100 miles in just over four hours.

The event was organised by Jon Mills of Cycle-fit indoor cycling. This was all in aid of the British Heart Foundation and £140 was raised.

All this is a warm up ready the big challenge next June, which is a cycle ride from Harrogate in Yorkshire to Tenby; 272 miles non stop in under 36 hours (HARTEN400).

A big thank you to Jon for letting the event take over for the day, to the cyclists, to all who donated and all the people who came down to support the event.

In the run up to the ride there will also be some charity nights organised to help boost the money raised. For more information and to follow the journey, find the Facebook page HARTEN400 or www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Dai-Morgan1.
