A man from Narberth who was caught drink driving on two separate occasions last year received a three-year ban and substantial fines after being found guilty at a court in Haverfordwest this week.

Eighty-year-old Gwillim Vincent George Rees, of Kiln Park Farm, was absent from the trial on Monday, where magistrates found him guilty of driving his vehicle whilst over the limit in both June and July of 2007.

Mr. Rees was fined £500 for the first offence, £600 for the second, and ordered to pay court costs of £500. He was also disqualified from driving for three years, as well as being ordered to re-sit his driving test.
