Ironman fever gripped Tenby and South Pembrokeshire over the weekend. Thousands of athletes from all over the world took part in the gruelling triathlon challenge on Sunday, while thousands more turned out to support them from dawn until dusk. Banners, bunting and flags decorated the course, while many spectators donned personalised tops and clutched cowbells, their support adding colour and vibe to the event. Many of those athletes - now able to proudly call themselves Ironmen and women - have shown their appreciation to the crowds via social media and blogs, including winner Jesse Thomas, all the way from the USA, who is seen below being cheered to the finish line on Tenby’s Esplanade.
