On Saturday, Marros Riding Centre held a presentation evening for members of their Pony Club at The Regency Hall in Saundersfoot, where 39 members with their families celebrated achievements from throughout the year.

Each member received an Achievement Badge such as ‘Handling and Grooming’, ‘Mini Yard Safety’, ‘Mini Care of the Foot’ or ‘Security Awareness’ which have been worked towards in the last few months.

Certificates were awarded to each member for a range of things – ‘Best haynet stuffer’, ‘Super Smiler’, ‘Determination Award’ and ‘Confidence Boost’ to name a few.

There were 13 members awarded with ‘100 per cent attendance’ medals for attending all the activity sessions throughout the year.

Gold Award Achievement Badges were given to five Junior members and one Senior member for earning a certain number of badges in total.

A number of shields were awarded for outstanding members:

Best Newcomer Junior – Ruby Spencer; Most Improved Junior – CS; Best in Junior Show – Isobel Brown; Be Kind Award – Matilda Wheeler; Junior Pony Club Member of the Year – Lilybeth Phillips; Best Senior Newcomer – Eden Lloyd; Most improved Senior Member – Ella Laye; Best in Senior Show – Ella Laye, Runner Up – Millie Percey; Be Kind Award – Lowri Jones; Young Leader Award - Kindly Sponsored by Reynold’s Fencing – Ffion Lewis; Senior Pony Club Member of the Year – Shannon Parker.
