Llanddewi Velfrey-born D. Michael Davies recently received the MBE from HM The Queen at Buckingham Palace. Mr. Davies (pictured) received the award for services to livestock management. Now living in Carmarthenshire, he was accompanied at the palace by his wife and two sons.
