Repairs to the damaged sea wall at Amroth have begun.
The sea defences were damaged during the recent high spring tides and the work is expected to last around two weeks.
The repairs are being carried out by Pembrokeshire County Council with 75 per cent of the £45,000 cost being funded by Welsh Government.
Workmen will be removing the damaged sheet piles and concrete edge beams and replacing them. They will also be filling a large void beneath the footway with concrete.
