Saundersfoot based trio I See Rivers have their highly anticipated debut album coming out next month after continuous championing throughout BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, and performing live on BBC2 and Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch.

Although from different parts of Norway, band members Lill, Gøril and Eline all met in Liverpool at University and after recording their first EP in Wales, they fell in love with the coastline and moved down to Pembrokeshire once they’d graduated.

Since then they’ve had huge support from BBC Radio Wales and BBC Wales TV, and after an incredible lead up since their debut release, through touring, writing and recording, they will release their album ‘Deep and Rolling Green’ on October 2.

Eline (keys, vocals, percussion), Gøril (guitar, vocals, drum pad) and Lill (drums, vocals) have toured extensively, selling out shows with highly acclaimed performances alongside the likes of Cosmo Sheldrake, Newton Faulkner, showcases with Communion and captivating audiences at festivals such as The Great Escape, Eurosonic, Bergenfest and Green Man.

Their synchronized, blended vocal arrangements and flawless instrumentation has them renowned as a must-see live act.

The album beautifully ties together the band’s distinctive sound and harmonies whilst touching on the themes of nature, mythology, love and loss; and gives an understanding of Lill, Gøril and Eline individually, but also how they so naturally intertwine together through their enriched musicality and honest storytelling.

I See Rivers have not been scared to take risks to create a piece of extraordinary art, and the trio do not disappoint as they channel their well known, feel-good energy through songs such as ‘Helios’ and ‘Grow and Go’ whilst also unveiling a slightly darker side through tracks like ‘Collide’ and ‘We Don’t Get More Time’.

The epic vocal arrangements in ‘Out of Breath’ and the final title track ‘Deep and Rolling Green’ and the soundscapes in ‘Elio Elio Elio’ and ‘The Fortress of Fish’ highlight the true diversity and quality of the album.

‘Deep and Rolling Green’ was recorded in the renovated Carmel Chapel ‘StudiOwz’ with their incredible team; Owain Jenkins, Toby Couling, Alec Brits and Emilie Krogh Johannessen. After creating their first EP in Owain’s dad’s shed all those years back, they have gone through a journey through true dedication and friendship.

The album will be available on all streaming platforms, CD and vinyl.
