Sir,
In answer to Clr. Michael Williams’s recent question as to why I did not take things further with Pembrokeshire County Council regarding the proposed demolition of Tenby Infants School, I would like to state that I did!
I contacted Simon Hart MP and a meeting was held at Heywood Mount. Over 100 people attended and an invitation was sent to PCC, but apparently no members were available to attend. Many questions were asked, but no answers given as there were no councillors present.
Had Clr. Williams been present and shown his interest, maybe a different outcome would have been achieved.
As for Clr. Sue Perkins, I still await a reply. Maybe there isn’t one that she’d like to share.
The Brynhir development is yet another case of PCC not consulting with the people it represents.
If Clr. Williams is frustrated by this situation with all his years of experience and knowledge, where does he think it leaves me!
Sandra Williams,
Tenby.
