Sir,

I saw New Table Top Board Games Night advertised in the Observer, so as my three grandsons, Jack, 13, Harry, 10, and William, 4, were down on holiday from Birmingham, we decided to go.

All three boys love board games. Don’t get me wrong, the have all the usual gadgets, ipads, laptops etc., but they do enjoy sitting as a family and playing a board game.

Not knowing what to expect, we headed off to Penally Village Hall. Lindsey, the chap who was running it, showed us the many games he had (some of which he had created himself). He helped us choose a game, explained how to play and left us to it.

We played for two hours, what a great night, the boys really enjoyed it and even asked it they could come again the next night. It’s such a pity more people didn’t suport the evening.

We had a really fun evening, everyone was friendly and helpful, so if you enjoy board games, give it a go. Check it out on: tabletop adventure gamers pembrokeshire.

Karen Edwards,

Jack, Harry and William.
