A Milford Haven woman has been given a 12-month conditional discharge after being found guilty of assault.

Twenty-five-year-old Miss Cherish Phoebe Watts, of Haven Hotel, pleaded not guilty to a charge of assaulting Kelly Howard in Haverfordwest, on November 22, 2016, when she appeared for a hearing at Haverfordwest magistrates court last month, but was found guilty at a trial last week.

Magistrates gave Miss Watts a 12-month conditional discharge and imposed a restraining order for the defendant on the following terms - not to approach or contact Kelly Howard either directly or indirectly by any means whatsoever; not to place any material on any social media site that refers either directly or indirectly to the complainant. This order lasts until March 12, 2020.

Miss Watts was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £200 and a £20 victim surcharge.
