A Pembroke Dock woman will go on trial in the New Year after denying an allegation of ill-treating or wilfully neglecting a man in Tenby under her care.

Forty-four-year-old Barbara Revell, of Hawkstone Road, pleaded not guilty to the charge when she appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

The allegation is that between May 31 and June 2 of this year, Ms Revell ill-treated or wilfully neglected a man she had the care of in Tenby, who lacked or whom she reasonably believed to lack mental capacity.

Ms Revell pleaded not guilty to the charge and the matter was sent to Swansea Crown Court for trial, with the next hearing scheduled for January 2, 2018.
