Tenby’s RNLI?crew were called out on Tuesday (June 1) night after reports of a kayak in difficulty.
Inshore lifeboat the Georgina Taylor was launched was launched at 7.20 pm, following a report of a kayak in difficulty in the water off Manorbier.
The volunteer crew made best speed to Manorbier, some 8 miles west of Tenby and located the kayaker, who confirmed he was fishing and in no difficulty.
The lifeboat was stood down and returned to station, arriving at 8.05 pm.
