Police in Tenby are investigating a spate of burglaries that occurred in the town recently.

Three business premises were burgled and an attempted burglary occurred in Tenby sometime overnight on July 25-26. Two premises in Upper Frog Street were forcibly entered and small sums of money removed.

A premises in Castle Square was forcibly entered with a drink being stolen, and an attempt was also made to enter a premises on Pier Hill.

Police believe that the incidents may be linked and extensive enquiries are being carried out to find the perpetrators. Extra patrols are being carried out in the area to reassure the public.

A man has been arrested, and has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Police officers in the town are also appealing for witnesses, following a burglary between 1 and 1.15 am on Sunday at Caffe Vista on Crackwell Street.

PC175 Leigh Jones is looking for anybody with information on three males running through the streets obstructing vehicles on the road around this area at this time. One of the males was initially wearing a black jacket, which he later removed and was then wearing a light coloured jumper.
